Over 100 people heard Houston City Councilman Carroll G. Robinson deliver a fiery speech on the celebration’s theme. The Texas Southern Debate Team and singer Kenneth Medlock also performed. The 16th annual Juneteenth Parade will be held on Wednesday, 6/19/02, at 12:30 p.m. in downtown Angleton. It will begin at the former Onix Technology parking lot, and end at Bates Park. No participation fee is charged
