What are the delay categories that AirTravel displays?
Arrival delay occur when incoming flights are held in the air. Departure delays occur when outbound aircraft are late leaving an airport. Ground delays mean that aircraft are being delayed at their point of origin. Ground stops occur when they are completely prevented from taking off. For example, if there are arrival delays at DEN airport, planes are late landing at Denver. If there are ground delays, planes bound for Denver, e.g. from NYC, are late leaving at their point of origin.
