What are the definitions of each threat condition?
Threatcon Alpha – a general threat of possible terrorist activity, normally will not affect day to day operation at the base. Threatcon Bravo – an increased and more predictable threat of terrorist activity, will probably affect day to day operation if maintained for many weeks. Threatcon Charlie – applies when an incident occurs or intelligence is received indicating some form of terrorist action, will most likely create hardship and affect the peacetime activities on the base. Threatcon Delta – applies in the immediate area where a terrorist attack has occurred or when intelligence has been received that terrorist action is likely, is generally a localized condition and will most likely suspend day to day operations at the base.
