FLEXlm’s default ports for lmgrd are between 27000-27009. Therefore if you do not specify a port number in the license, then lmgrd will choose one of these ports. The vendor daemon chooses an open port automatically. It has no range.

By default, Geomagic licenses define port 27000. For the vendor daemon (geowatch.exe) port however, the license server chooses an open port automatically. It has no limitation to range.
