What are the default managed/unmanaged ports/interfaces?
•Ports (switches): By default, DFM manages trunk ports but does not manage access ports. DFM considers a port to be a trunk port if it connects to a Cisco network device running Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP). In other words, a trunk port connects to a router, or to a switch that is managed by the same DFM server. DFM does not manage access ports by default (an access port is a switch port that is connected to a host or device not managed by DFM; that is, an end-station port). •Interfaces (routers): By default, DFM manages all interfaces listed in the ifTable.
