Take out the cash tray and slide out the drawer. Look inside the drawer. At the back you will see a printed circuit board (PCB). On this PCB, you will see two switch blocks each with eight small switches in a row. The switch block on the left side should read from left to right: Up Down Down Up Down Down Up Down. This setting sets the baud rate to 9600 baud, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, Security Code Only mode. The switch block on the right side should read: Down Down Down, Up Up Up Up Up. This setting sets the security code to Ctrl-G (Hex 07).
