What are the deadlines for satisfying the supervisory education requirement?
Effective January 1, 2005, UCSD supervisors and academic appointees are required to take a 2-hour education course every 2 years. For employees who took the course in 2005, 2007 was a re-training year. New supervisors or academic appointees have six months in which to satisfy the requirement. Continuing employees will receive an email notification on the two-year anniversary of their previous compliance and will be given 90 days in which to satisfy the requirement.
