What are the deadlines for applications and when will I hear if it’s been successful?
If you are applying for transport starting in September it is important that we receive your form before the deadline. This is currently 31st July for 5-16 and Post16 applicants. These applications will be processed and passes will be issued by the week after August Bank Holiday. If there are any problems, queries on information provided or information is missing from the form, we will contact you. Please send your applications to us as early as possible. We cannot guarantee that forms received after the deadline will be processed in time for the start of the new term. Please note we will not reimburse fares paid if the Passenger Transport Group receives the application after the deadline. For those who pay in instalments or who send in proof of benefit to obtain a free pass it is important that the appropriate payment or photocopied details are sent in good time for us to reissue passes at the end of February. For applications received throughout the academic year the Passenger Transp
