What are the deadlines for application to the graduate program and for applying for fellowships and assistantships?
January 1 is the deadline for applications to be considered for Fall (August) admission, and fellowships and assistantships awarded by the department. U.S. citizens and permanent residents should submit all application materials by December 1, if they wish to also receive consideration for university level diversity and merit fellowships. All applicants are considered for financial aid, without a separate financial aid application. The general Texas A&M University application deadline is March 1 for Fall (August), but this is too late to receive full consideration by the admissions committee. The university is closed in the last weeks of December and early January, and no application processing is performed.
