What are the dates of the Japan Program?
Although the exact dates vary by one or two days every year, the Japan Program typically starts at the very beginning of September and concludes at the end of November. In 2011 the Japan Program is tentatively scheduled to begin in Japan on Wednesday, August 24 and conclude on Sunday, November 20th. Final Program dates should be available no later than April 15, 2011, While students accepted into the program are expected to make their own transportation arrangements to and from Japan, they should not make flight arrangements until the final program dates have been confirmed. As a general rule, students are expected to arrive at Kansai International Airport (KIX) near Osaka on the afternoon or early evening of the first day of the program and return from the same airport on the last day of the program.
