The exact dates vary from year to year but the Festival has always traditionally run for three and a half weeks in August, opening on the first Sunday and closing on the Bank Holiday Monday. For this years dates visit www.edfringe.com. The Pleasance opens four days earlier for previews. In 2010 the Festival Fringe dates are 6th-29th August.
