USDA’s Continuing Survey of Food Intake by Individuals (CSFII), 1994-1996 and 1998, was used for food and nutrient data. These data are available at: http://www.barc.usda.gov/bhnrc/foodsurvey/Cd98.html USDA’s Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, Release 17 or SR16-1 was used for nutrient data for foods not found in the CSFII. Standard Reference is available at: http://www.ars.usda.gov/ba/bhnrc/ndl. MyPyramid Equivalents Database for USDA Survey Food Codes Version 1.0 was used to calculate Pyramid Equivalents.
