What Are the Dangers of Children and Hot Tubs?
Hot tubs serve their purpose well in reducing stress and muscle tension from our body-from an adult body used to extreme temperatures. However, parents should take every precautionary measure when letting their children hop in the tub. A temperature of no more than 104 degrees Fahrenheit should be used. This is the right temperature an adult body can take. However, kids should be exposed to far less heat than that. Their small bodies heat up pretty quickly. Here are some of the dangers you may be exposing your kid to: Cardiovascular Problems Too much heat can cause heart palpitations and stroke. The heat from the tub can cause blood to circulate abnormally for children and will then cause heat stroke. If you are not there to supervise, they might drown when they have an attack of heat stroke. It is better to let your kids bathe in the tab at an interval of 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, let them play in the backyard first to cool their body down and then let them go back in again. Aller
