What are the custom, duties and VAT policies?
For export of items to countries outside the European Union the VAT (value added tax) of 15% will be deducted where applicable. The cost minus VAT will be indicated for every exportable product available. Harrods cannot be held liable for any import duties payable on orders made and recommends that all customers make themselves aware of such local charges before ordering. Harrods can also not be held liable should local customs officials decide to hold or confiscate items for any reason.
