What are the Custom Auto Tags and license plates made of?
The Personalized License Plates and Custom Vanity Auto Tags that you see on our site are made of a UV and weather resistant engraving stock. This material has two colors….a surface color and a core color. We engrave through the surface color into the core color. These License Plates and Auto Tags are very durable and will last for years. License plate frames are made of a durable metal alloy. The engraved text strips are made of the same engraving stock as the license plates and then attched to the metal frames with the very best 3M all weather adhesive on the market. 4.
