As of December 22, 2004, there are several delivery methods for surround music. The current high capacity formats are DVD-Video using the audio portion of the disc, which is the most widespread, DVD-Audio, and the Super Audio CD (SACD). Formats using CD for delivery include the DTS Music Disc, and the SRS and Dolby Prologic encoded CD and Video CD (VCD).
