The list provided by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is quite long. Tweezers, nail files, scissors (blunt tips or shorter than 4″), aerosol spray bottles and cans and most liquids in 3 oz. containers are allowed. Liquid/cream/gel items need to be in 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag. Electronic devices, including iPods and cell phones, are permitted. If you do bring scissors be sure to have them where they can be accessed easily. I’ve had my carry-on dissected because of a small pair of scissors. Also if you are carrying on any medication make sure them in the original containers which show they are your prescriptions and be sure to keep them together, it will make things easier. Following is a list from the TSA which might be helpful; click on the TSA link if you would like more information. Makeup, Medication, Person
