What are the cultural “dos” and “don s” and what sort of hospital attire is expected?
Plan to wear clothes that are business casual around the hospital; medical scrubs are permitted. Sandals are the usual footwear. Tank tops and shorts are not considered appropriate work attire at AHC. Cambodian people are modest. Although they are very tolerant this doesnt mean they are not offended by such bareness in clothing. You will see all kinds of activity and dress by tourists in Siem Reap; however, please keep in mind you represent the hospital when traveling in and around town, so please act accordingly.
