What are the criteria for the homeschool dual enrollment program at Tallahassee Community College?
• You must have attained a status equivalent to that of a public high school junior and be at least 15 years old prior to your first semester of enrollment at TCC. • You must submit an application for dual enrollment to TCC. The application must be on file prior to the student taking the TCC placement test. • You must have qualifying SAT, ACT or CPT (College Placement Test) scores in the verbal areas. Students who want to take college level math classes must also have appropriate test scores in Math.
• You must have attained a status equivalent to that of a public high school junior and be at least 15 years old prior to your first semester of enrollment at TCC. You must provide an anticipated high school graduation date and may not change that date once it is entered in the system. You remain eligible for dual enrollment for six semesters from the time you begin. • You must submit an application for dual enrollment to TCC. The application must be on file prior to the student taking the TCC college placement test. • You must have qualifying SAT, ACT or CPT (College Placement Test) scores in the verbal areas. Students who want to take college level math classes must also have appropriate test scores in Math.

You remain eligible for dual enrollment for six semesters from the time you begin but no more than two years from the date you originally enroll. Further, you may not continue dual enrollment classes beyond your high school graduation date. • You must submit an application for dual enrollment to TCC. The application must be on file prior to the student taking the TCC college placement test. • You must have qualifying SAT, ACT or FPERT (Florida Post-Secondary Education Readiness Test) scores in all areas.
