What are the criteria for selection in one of the Colleges?
Most Colleges specify their criteria for selection, on their websites (links to which are provided from the Summary of Colleges Page). In general, if you are academically oriented, keen on community involvement, and care for your fellow students and the wider world, you should consider life in one of the residential Colleges. College life is about enhancing your University education. You need to be enrolled, or planning to enrol, at the University of Melbourne, although some Colleges are also able to offer places to a small number of students at other Victorian universities (see the Non University of Melbourne Admissions Information page for up-to-date details).
