What are the criteria for judging winners?
After the contest closes, a panel of judges from Sun’s development engineering team will select the winning entries from the set of ligible entries with validated regressions. The judges will make their decision based on the following criteria, listed in order of importance: • The completeness of the entry, including quality of the test case, if present. • The likelihood that the regression would be encountered by developers or users of Java SE 6 in real-world usage scenarios. • The impact of the regression behavior on applications, including the cost of potential workarounds or mitigation. • The presence and quality of any working, integratable fix that an entrant provides for a submitted regression through the JDK Community contribution process Sun does not promise to fully review submitted fixes in time for the judging of the contest. In the event of a tie, the highest quality entry will be declared the winner. If no entries deemed sufficiently high quality and high impact by the ju
