What are the criteria for judging the essays?
The essays will be judged primarily for: a) Depth of understanding about the dilemmas faced by Indian society in its on-going effort to build and maintain a culture of equal respect and harmony between all religious groups. b) Creativity of proposals for how India can build a more vibrant and resilient secular culture and overcome the problems of prejudice and disharmony. c) Clarity of expression.
