What are the criteria for being ranked?
The decision as to the band in Chambers USA into which lawyers and firms are placed is based on an assessment of a number of factors. These include (but are not limited to) the volume, standard and nature of marketplace commentary; a firm or lawyer’s visibility and profile as reflected by the views of our many interviewees; and the volume, complexity and size of work undertaken. The ultimate ranking is a balanced synthesis of all these elements and the number of bands depends on the state and sector in question.
