Only applications through ERAS will be considered. Personal statement. Three letters of recommendation from physicians (both US and/or foreign) dated within the past year. All letters must be on letterhead. Official transcript from medical school (must have registrar’s signature and seal). Dean’s letter. Official USMLE transcripts – Preference will be given to candidates with USMLE scores of 188 or greater on Step 1 and Step 2 CK who passed on the first attempt. Step 2 CS – Candidates must have passed on the first attempt only. Failures on Step 2 CS will be not considered. Candidates who have more than two (2) unsuccessful attempts on any Step will not be considered. For IMG candidates, passing of Step 3 is recommended, but not required. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Although US clinical experience is not required, it is preferred. The year of graduation from medical school is not an issue. 2.
