What are the credentials of the educator?
Childbirth Steps Prenatal Education is locally owned and operated by Lori Burgess-Rossi. Lori has been a Registered Nurse for 17 years and has been a ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator for 12 years. Her nursing experience has included 14 years of experience related to pregnancy, childbirth and the newborn. She is currently working as a Labour and Delivery Nurse at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, Ontario. Lori has had a variety of teaching experience, including teaching prenatal classes for 12 years and teaching Maternal Child Nursing classes at the college level. Lori also provides CPR instruction to healthcare professionals, as well as general infant/child classes to families she meets during prenatal classes. Her best experience was the birth of her own child in the year 2000, a daughter named Chloe.
