What are the creation stories?
In Asatru: Before time, there existed two relms, Niflheim and Muspelheim. Niflheim was a land of ice and cold, and Muspelheimwas a land of fire and heat. between these two worlds was a massive void, called Ginnungagap, where the heat from Muspelheim was able to melt the edges of Niflheim, causing rivers of ice water and ice blocks to flow and fall into Ginnungagap. After a while, the steam formed two beings: a great cow and a frost giant called Ymir. Ymir was able to drink from the milk from the giant cow, but the cow had nothing to eat, so it started licking a block of ice. While Ymir was sleeping, the cow (Audumla) licked the ice and a form of a man was slowly shaped. This was Buri, and as soon as Buri was released from the ice, he willed into form Bor, who then willed into form three more gods: Odin, Villi and Ve.
