What are the costs of the Year Abroad (where applicable)?
The year abroad is a compulsory element of the Single Honours degree. During the year abroad the fees you will pay are set at half the price of standard fees. These fees are payable to the University of Birmingham, and no further fees are payable to the institution overseas.Living costs abroad obviously vary enormously. Expenses in California are particularly high, while students in Canada and Chicago have lower housing costs. Up-to-date housing and living costs are distributed to students early on in their second year to help them in their decision-making.
