What are the costs of a Kent County boat slips?
A. 25′ slips at Quaker Neck, Long Cove, Spring Cove and Skinner’s Neck are $150 per year(no water or electric to slips). 40′ & 50′ slips at Betterton, Long Cove and Skinner’s Neck are $275 per year(no water or electric to slips). Bayside Landing Park-all slips have water and electric. Slips under 38′ are $1,000 per year and slips over 38′ are $1,200 per year. Q.Who can get a mooring buoy permit and what do they cost? A. Anyone who owns waterfront property can apply for a mooring buoy permit. Depending on the amount of the waterfront area up to 6 moorings can be applied for. One mooring is free, for more than one mooring there is a $50 application fee and $10 per mooring fee.
