There are 3 main cost in playing club volleyball. The first is the cost to join the USAV- a registration fee good for the season. In the PVA this cost is currently $40. The second is the club dues. This cost can be a monthly fee or a lump sum. This fee usually goes to pay the coaches, for gym practice time, and other things and can vary greatly between clubs. The 3rd fee is the cost for tournaments. Club tournaments can range from $125-$900 per team. This cost is divided between the total number of girls on the team. There are some other cost including uniforms, warm-ups, etc. The main thing is to find out all of the costs of club. You will find that some clubs like to hide fees and bring them up later after you have signed with that club. Make sure you ask about all of the fees and add them up before you make the decision of what club to pay for.
