What are the cost differences between a systems audit and a surveillance audit?
The OA will be charged the actual time to review the documentation and generate the reports, as well as any management time involved. The cost of a surveillance audit should be similar to the cost of a systems audit, with the added cost of reviewing any documentation to ensure continued conformity with the DO elements of the Standard (e.g. internal audit reports, management review minutes) and of reviewing any previous nonconformities and their documented corrective actions.
