What are the cooking conversions for pounds, pints and quarts?
I downloaded and printed a Converters Chart from Yahoo7Food and keep it handy because it lists temperature conversions as well as all the normal things like cups, spoons etc. I found it at: http://au.food.yahoo.com/converters/ The conversion I always keep in my head when using old recipes is that 1 pound is equal to 2.2 kilos. Once you have done conversions just divide quantities by 10 (simple) and this will give you a recipe for 5 people.
