What are the contributions of chemistry in our daily lives?
Chemistry can be found pretty much everywhere in our daily lives. Think of cooking, if you heat up the water to boil you’re observing a change in enthalpy (heat energy) and watching a phase change (a liquid to a gas). Also, chemistry helps in the creation of gasoline and medicine. There are all these different elements and chemical equations that help scientists figure out how to create these substances. In gasoline there are solids and liquids mixed together to create an aqueous substance that we put in our cars; thats chemistry. How the car ignites the engine is chemistry, it combusts the gasoline into energy. There are so many other things that chemistry helps fuel; like make up, water purification, insecticides, and even processed food. Hope that helped.
