What are the contraindications of Endoscopic / Laparoscopic surgery ?
Uncontrolled cardiac or respiratory diseases, untreated disorders of blood coagulation i.e. bleeding disorders and the patients who have undergone multiple operations in past are not suitable for endoscopic surgery because they are not fit for general anaesthesia which is used in majority of cases undergoing endoscopic surgery. However, after adequate treatment of these disorders, patients can be subjected to endoscopic surgery.
