What Are the Contents of a Scuba Tank?
The scuba tank is filled with compressed gas, enabling a diver to both take a supply of breathable air with him underwater. That also enables the diver to breathe that air at the increased pressures found there. Over the years, a number of gas mixtures have been invented to enable a scuba diver to function better and deal with the problems of breathing compressed air at pressure, namely the bends and nitrogen narcosis.
