What are the consequences of rule violations or a positive drug test?

Certain infractions are handled between the Program Manager or House Manager and the resident, and may result in curfews or other loss of privilege. Offenses that are more serious are evaluated by the Program Staff and a determination is made regarding the level of motivation of the individual and whether the other residents of the House would benefit or be harmed by the continued residence of the individual. For serious offenses- using drugs or alcohol, violence, theft, etc. – the determination is automatic: the individual must leave for the greater good of the House. This includes “accidental” or false positives on drug tests; the individual must leave while a determination is made regarding the accuracy of the result.
