What are the consequences of ignoring violations/citation notices?
The University reserves the right to cancel parking privileges at any time. Parking permits remain the property of the University. In addition, any vehicle parked in violation of these regulations shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe or proper regulation of vehicles on campus and may be removed by towing or immobilized by booting. Individuals with outstanding fines of $100 or more will lose the privilege of parking on campus until the fines are paid in full. Furthermore, persons with outstanding fines will be unable to obtain a parking permit for the next academic year until the parking fines are paid in full. Any vehicle with $100 or more in unpaid citations is subject to immediate boot or tow. In all the above cases, the owner/operator bears the cost of removal, storage, booting and fines before possession of the vehicle may be regained. Any and all charges associated with towing are the responsibility of the student, and/or registered owner of the vehicle. For student
