Answer. As the BBQs at the Saw Avenue Picnic Area are wood fired, they are subjected to a total fire ban on days where the fire danger is Very High or Extreme. You can check the fire danger with the Bureau of Meteorology or telephone 1196. Fire bans do not apply to electric powered BBQ’s.
