What are the components of the ClearSight Distributed System and how do they relate?
The ClearSight Distributed system consists of a ClearSight Agent Viewer connecting to and controlling one or more ClearSight Distributed Agents. ClearSight Distributed Agent Manager manages the agents in the ClearSight Distributed system. From the ClearSight Distributed Agent Manager, you can connect to multiple Agents, opening separate ClearSight windows for each connected Agent. In addition, the Distributed Agent Manager provides centralized alarm management capabilities in its Central Problem Manager. ClearSight Distributed Agents monitor and analyze the local network segment to which they are connected, sending the results of their analysis as screen updates to the Agent Viewer. Once you are connected to a Distributed Agent from the Distributed Agent Manager, you interact with the Distributed Agent just as if you were sitting at its keyboard entering commands and analyzing traffic.
