Lipids are the group of organic/biochemical molecules that includes fats and oils and etc(waxes , sterols,and others) The fat soluble vitamins are ADEK there are triglycerides which are a glycerol with 3 fatty acids, there are diglycerides ad monoglycerides they may be saturated or unsaturated oils are liquid and more likely unsaturated fats are solids and contain saturated fatty acids
