All common prerequisite requirements can be found in the Common Prerequisite Manual. If you go to the Florida Academic Counseling and Tracking for Students (FACTS) website, highlight “Advising Manuals.” You will then be able to bring up the Common Prerequisite Manual. If you have specific questions, contact your majors academic department for clarification. You may have additional lower level courses required as part of your majors course of study. If you are a student attending a Florida community college, you may be able to complete those courses while there in addition to the common prerequisite courses. For certain highly technical majors, you may not find all prerequisite courses being offered at all Florida public postsecondary institutions.
