What are the Commission’s goals and objectives for use of CDBG, HOME and FESG funding?
The County’s Consolidated Plan 2005 includes three core goals, one each in the areas of homelessness, housing and non-housing community development. These three goals express the County’s intentions related to assisting extremely low-, low- and moderate-income residents. The Consolidated Plan includes several specific objectives for each goal: Homelessness Goal: To promote new and existing day centers, emergency shelters, transitional housing facilities and services that will coordinate and improve the continuum of care system for homeless residents of Sonoma County.
