CSG can be used for a range of domestic and industrial purposes. If Santos is only exploring in 2009, how it can book resources? The exploration program, which will finish at the end of 2009, is collecting baseline data on the local environment, including groundwater. Resources are initially booked as contingent resources and not as Proved, Probable and Possible reserves, which require a higher level of geological and commercial confidence.
