There are Percula clowns which are your classic clown fish. Nemo was a Percula clown. There are also the Sebae (See-bay) clown fish which have usually just a single band of striping. There are also Skunk clowns which are peach colored with a white stripe across their back. The key to Clowns is a Pacific Anenome. I nice carpet Anenome are nice and a Clown fish will not hesitate to go into it the moment it is introduced to an aquarium. You will pay for it though. Atlantic Anenome’s are cheap. Pacific Anenomes are expensive and vibrant with their colors. Your Clown fish will be happy if you give them a Pacific Anenome.
