What are the charges for a rescue or fire call?
A.There are no charges for a fire call. For a rescue call, if you are a resident, which means you live within the City limits and pay taxes to the City of De Pere, your charge would be $425.00 plus $7.50 a mile from the place of assistance to the hospital. If you are not transported to the hospital, there may be a service fee of $90.00, situation depending. If we use paramedic supplies on a call but you are not transported, you may be charged the same amount as if you were transported. If you are transported by the City of De Pere Ambulance but do not live within the City limits, you will be charged $600.00 plus $7.50 per loaded mile. Q.
