The 70% water separated from spentwash using Nanofiltration has a very pale yellow tinge. It shall have higher COD, BOD & TDS compared to that obtained by reverse osmosis.. Accordingly, the water recovered in this manner, can be used for non technical operations like internal gardening, cleaning water or cooling water etc. or added to raw water tank.
