I take traditional to mean what has usually occurred in the past. If so…then its govt that is elected by the people to run govt and the country in a way that can be said to be the will of the people…as the policies and laws put in place should pretty much poll favorably with the public. The more policies and laws do put in place by “representative” govt do not poll out favorably with the public, the more it can be said that what we have is not really democracy but more like something closer to plutocracy.
