What are the characteristics of the prints mounted on aluminium?
The prints are mounted on a composite sheet (dibond). This material is composed of two layers of aluminum with a solid polyethylene core. Aluminum dibond is known for its lightness and it allows large prints to be maintained perfectly flat over the years. It is particularly suited for large prints and is favoured by artists for their exhibitions. Among the various bonding materials (foam, PVC), aluminum has by far the best rigidity to weight ratio. The mounting on aluminum gives great presence to the artwork, without frills and the glare of glass. The prints are supplied with a mounting system that allows rapid hanging on your wall.
