What are the characteristics of a future leader of Ontario?
I think that future leaders of Ontario are people who are really willing to take chances. They are ambitious, professional, and creative, and open to new initiatives and ideas. Their main goal is to help make the Public Service an ideal choice, while helping serve the Canadian people. All of your committee members are volunteers. What are the incentives for a young professional to become involved with FLO or to become a member? I would say that being on the committee allows you to expand your network of contacts. It is also a good opportunity to get some hands-on experience in organizing and coordinating events and maybe reach some of your own personal and career goals. We support the development of our team and members to become empowered in their careers and personal lives. What was your most successful event? We launched the new FLO network during the National Public Service Week in 2007 by holding an office crawl at 4900 Yonge Street where participants were provided the opportunity
