NAAC has now introduced a two-step process for affiliated/constituent colleges. After the online submission of Letter of Intention (LOI) the institution need to obtain “Institutional Eligibility for Quality Assessment” (IEQA) through submission of online application in the prescribed format. The analysis of this format will be used for determining its “IEQA status”. The format for peer team report has been simplified. The manuals have been revised according to the new methodology. In the new methodology, the institutions will be graded for each Key Aspectunder four categories, viz. A, B, C and D, denoting Very Good, Good, Satisfactory and Unsatisfactory respectively. Criterion-Grade Points arecalculated from the Key Aspect Grades. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be calculated from the Criterion Grade Points. The CGPA denotes the Institutional Grade Point Average.
