Both times I fully breastfed and both times my period returned within about 8 weekd of giving birth. I think if you’re definately not ready for another baby I wouldn’t rely on breastfeeding as a method of contraception (also if you’re having period you’re more than likely to be ovulating so getting pregnant is as likely as it would be if you weren’t breastfeeding).
